Planting Potatoes

Join us at the Volunteer Day on Saturday as we tuck some tasty tubers into the earth!

The harvests begin May 15th

The first distributions of the Kranz Hill Farm, CSA  2012 season will be May 15th (Tuesday) and May 18th (Friday).  On both days the distribution will be open between 4 and 6:30 in the afternoon, and will take place in the barn rain or shine.
Shareholders can expect to receive fresh and clean lettuce, mesclun, and radishes, all picked that morning.  In the following weeks the variety and quantity will increase and the shares will likely include beets, turnips, broccoli raab, and more.
Shares are still available.  If you have any questions or if you would like to visit our farm please call, 302-540-0912.

April Showers

We are all smiles here at the farm.  The rain yesturday has been excellent.  I can almost hear the plants in the field drinking their fill!

Additionally, the two cisterns that catch rain off the barn are almost full.  That means we have about 5000 gallons of water in storage.
